Privacy Policy

Last updated · June 2026

The terms “We” / “Us” / “Our” / “Company” individually and collectively refer to Homework App Inc. (operator of DoubtGo), and the terms “You” / “Your” / “Yourself” refer to the users. This Privacy Policy is an electronic record formed under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder, and does not require any physical or digital signature.

By using the DoubtGo website or app, or by providing us your information, you consent to the collection, storage, processing and transfer of your information as described here. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the website or app.

User information

To provide certain services we may ask for information such as your name and email address, and — only where a feature requires it — additional details you choose to share. The questions, photos, audio and documents you submit are processed to generate solutions, notes, flashcards and quizzes for you, and to maintain, protect and improve our services. Information that is freely available in the public domain is not treated as sensitive.

Cookies

We may use cookies or similar tools to assign each visitor a random identifier so we can understand general interests and improve responsiveness. A cookie cannot read data off your hard drive; the only personal information it can hold is what you supply. Our web servers also automatically collect limited, non-identifying information such as your IP address to deliver pages, measure traffic and tailor the experience. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Links to other sites

This policy covers our own properties only. Our site and app may link to other websites that are beyond our control, and we are not responsible for your use of those sites.

Information sharing

We do not share your sensitive personal information with third parties without your prior consent, except in limited circumstances: (a) when required by law, a court or a governmental authority — for verifying identity, or for the prevention, detection or investigation of offences; and (b) with group companies and their staff who process information on our behalf under instructions consistent with this policy and appropriate confidentiality and security measures.

Information security

We apply appropriate security measures — including internal reviews of our collection, storage and processing practices, encryption and physical safeguards — to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. Information is stored in a controlled database behind a firewall with restricted, password-protected access. No system is fully impenetrable, however, and we cannot guarantee that information transmitted over the internet is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

The internet is an ever-evolving medium. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect necessary changes. Our use of any information we gather will always remain consistent with the policy under which it was collected.
